writing, thinking, intellect, a quick flow of ideas.

lack objectivity - the ability to stand back and view aspects of
life from a detached and rational perspective. You have difficulty
making decisions and in the process of weighing up the pros and
cons in a logical manner.
This description may fit you quite well....Often that is the case....

Virgo
and Love (written to share with your mate, if you dare)
Yep! I admit it. For years and years and years, I've been reading
Virgo all wrong. At least according to astrologer, Liz Greene, I'm
all wet about the primary motivating archetypal force behind Virgo.
(Unfortunately, there happens to be an incredibly valid reason as
to why she would probably know a heck of a lot more about Virgo
energy than I do.)
Anyway,
according to Liz Greene, the motivating force behind Virgo is not
"perfectionism." The primary motivating force behind Mercurial
Virgo is that of "synthesizing." i.e. "How do I take
all these different, unrelated bits and pieces and then synthesize
them into something practical and useful?" I still give "perfectionism"
a close second place, regardless of what Liz Greene thinks. Darn
it, I know in my heart that all the Virgos reading this description
are - at this very moment - mentally doing a spelling check and
looking for looking for incorrect punctuation.
Before
any of you "dyed-in-the-wool" Liz Greene fans decide to
write in with hate mail for my being too critical of her, I should
tell you that Liz Greene still happens to be my favorite living
astrologer/writer. She just can't be right 100% of the time. Even
I'm only right 95% of the time.
Anyway,
it's important for Virgo's lover to know that Virgo feels the safest
when being practical, useful, and productive. If Virgo can "figure
out" and analyze his or her environment, then they generally
feel a lot safer and happier. If Virgo is happy, everybody is happy.
If Virgo is unhappy, then (trust me) ain't nobody happy. The nicest
things Virgo's partner can do to emotionally reassure Virgo are
those little everyday practical expressions of affection which include
sharing equally in the household chores and bringing Virgo a cup
of chicken soup when he or she is sick.
Barring
other factors in the chart - as an "Earth Sign" - physical
closeness, touch, and affection are often the best ways Virgo's
"significant other" can express (and reassure) Virgo of
their continuing love and affection. (i.e. A hug a day keeps the
doctor away.) Likewise, Virgo's lover withholding physical expressions
of love and affection is an ironclad, guaranteed way to make Virgo

As
for Virgo and "virginity?" I can personally testify to
the fact that in the privacy of their own home (and behind closed
doors), Virgonian energy may be anything other than what one might
typically associate with being "virginal. "Virgo, with
the Sun in the element of Earth, feels the safest and most comfortable
when surrounded with the world of the five senses... sense of touch,
sound, smell, sight, and taste.
If
you think about it for just a second, all of that sounds downright
hot, sexy, and lusty, doesn't it? In fact, since Virgos pride themselves
in regard to their practical, technical abilities - Virgo's technical
proficiency will likely come in very handy in the bedroom.

In Greek mythology Chiron was a centaur. Centaurs were creatures
that had a horse's body and legs, yet they had a human's torso and
arms. As a rule, these half-horse, half-human Centaurs had the reputation
for being wild and unbridled critters, being primarily known for
their insatiable sexual appetites. They belonged to the wild "Dionysian
crowd." You know - the sort of unsavory folks your parents
warned you about hanging out with (so they fascinated you all the
more). And, for the most part, centaurs weren't exactly on very
friendly terms with mortals.
The
centaur, Chiron, was the exception to this centaurian rule. Chiron
was known as a wise teacher, healer and prophet. The Greek mythology
encircling the figure of Chiron, The Wounded Healer, is of great
assistance in acquiring a deeper understanding of the energies reflected
by the Chiron in our sky. In the birth chart, Chiron reflects the
archetypal energies of the shamanic wounded healer and teacher who
potentially lives within each one of us. Chiron's placement in the
birth chart reflects an accidental wounding we received (most often,
but not always, in early childhood). This Chironian wounding is
an injury to our instinctual nature and a wounding of trust.
The
wounding was generally brought about as the result of a stupid,
careless, thoughtless accident... so normally there's no one who
can be blamed with purposely, intentionally, maliciously wounding
us. The wounding was generally done by someone close to us... someone
we thought well of and trusted.
So the wounding is a wounding of trust... And, further... a Chironian
wound is an injury that will never, ever totally heal. We learn,

First Miss Universe Pageant
These three Olympian goddesses were embroiled in a dispute as to
which one of them was the most beautiful. They brought the dispute
before Zeus (the chief Olympian god), but in his vast wisdom Zeus
bowed out. Zeus wisely determined that the mortal man Paris - being
a young, macho, virile stud - (not unlike myself) should judge which
of the three goddesses was the most beautiful.
The
three goddesses were accompanied by the messenger god, Hermes, who
explained the entire situation to the mortal Paris. Paris first
tried squirming his way out of this fix by saying that all the goddesses
were equally beautiful and it was surely impossible to make such
a decision. Unfortunately for Paris, splitting the prize was not
an option that the three goddesses were willing to accept. However,
each of goddesses swore not to hold a grudge if another was selected
as the most beautiful (being young and naive, Paris actually believed
them).
The
first goddess to offer Paris gifts was Hera... (Hera was the wife
of Zeus - and now you know why Zeus had wisely decided to bow out....)
Hera offered Paris power, wealth and prestige. Next up was the warrior
goddess Athena... She offered Paris wisdom and bravery in battle.
Finally, it was the seductive Aphrodite's turn... and Aphrodite
offered Paris the gift of love, beauty, desire, and passion...
Three
Guesses?
Okay, I'll give you three guesses which one of the three goddesses
Paris chose that day as being the most beautiful (and the first
two guesses don't count)... Mighty Aphrodite (and her gift of love,
beauty, desire and passion) was of course the clear choice for our
young hero, Paris.
The
Consequences...
Hera and Athena turned away with heavy frowns visibly showing on
their faces - and both goddesses were, from that moment on, enemies
to all of the Trojan race (seems they'd already forgotten their
promise not to hold a grudge).
Making
an already very long story short - Paris (already married) later
met Helen of Troy ("the face that launched a thousand ships")
and they fell madly in love with one another. Therefore, Aphrodite
made good her promise to Paris with the beautiful (but also already
married) Helen. Unfortunately, the choice Paris made (and the resulting
passionate love match) then led directly to the bloody, tragic Trojan
Wars. The Trojan Wars lasted fourteen years, thousands died, and
the entire Trojan civilization was destroyed.
Choices...
