You may notice a trend here, as all of the books listed below are written by Karl (Károly) Kerényi It just doesn't get any better than Kerényi's treatment of Greek Mythology... however, since it's not likely that you will easily come across his writings elsewhere, I figured that my special visitors deserved the opportunity to be introduced to his extraordinary writings and research.

Kerényi (1897–1943) was a close friend of CG Jung, that Jung described as having "supplied such a wealth of connections [of psychology] with Greek mythology that the cross-fertilization of the two branches of science can no longer be doubted."
