It's
no secret (at least to me) that the majority of visitors
frequenting the Zodiac Master are of the "female variety." As
such... I thought I might take a brief moment to clue
you into something that you might not be fully aware of... and
while there's not going to be a lot of "astrology" in
this article, hang in there with me...
When
it comes down to it... guys are guys are guys... and we are
always going to be guys.
Mythologist
Joseph Campbell claimed that in “relationship,” woman
is the initiator, with man coming in close to the woman to be
initiated into the
deeper secrets of life and of love. He was right... guys are for
the most part clueless about such things... although a few of
us do try...

Like
the popular book series claims: Men Are From Mars, Women Are From
Venus. I recently came across a slightly different take on this
in the book: Men are Clams, Women Are Crowbars.
Anyway...
guys are guys are guys... and, like it or not, we are never going
to be you...
Different
Kinds of Guys
Granted... as astrology attempts to teach us... there
are many different kinds of guys:
jock
guys, geek guys, nerd guys, sensitive guys, quiet guys, loud guys,
dark and mysterious guys, dangerous guys, daredevil guys, clown guys,
soft guys, hard guys, serious guys,
solid
guys,
wise guys, laid back guys, on the go guys, clean freak guys, slob
guys,
spiritual
guys, and there are even a few strange "don't watch sports
on TV"
guys... (Tip: stay away
from the "don't watch sports on TV" guys. They're the guys
most likely to be serial killers.)
While
(unlike you) we really aren't all that complicated or complex in what
we want and/or need... most of us guys are a combination of two or
more of the above guys.
But
down deep, remove the veneer... and all of us guys are just guys.
Zen
State of Mind - What Are You Thinking About?
And yes, ladies... much (or most) of the time, when you ask us, we really aren't thinking
about anything.
If
you believe what spiritual guru Eckhart
Tolle has to say on the matter of creating empty spaces in
our minds in order to be more "conscious," then this total lack
of thought actually makes us guys very spiritual...
as we are easily able
to
create "inner-space."
Yep! We,
guys, live much of our lives (at least while at relaxing at home) in
a constant state of Zen satori (a blissful moment of "no mind"). Steve
Harvey and the big O
You've likely already seen Steve Harvey on the Oprah Show hawking
his popular book,
Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man?
While
Harvey's book (and wisdom) is simplistic, and I can't bring myself
to go along with everything he has to say, big parts are
dead on. For example:
Harvey
says four little words can strike fear and dread into any man: We
need to talk. "You just drove a nail in his forehead," Harvey
says.
Men are
fixers, not talkers, Harvey says, so it's better to get to the point. "When
you say, 'We need to talk,' we put up the barriers," he
says. "I tell ladies, just sit down and strike up a conversation." CNN
Yep, ladies!
This is, in fact, what originally sparked off my desire to write this
article on guys! So... if you choose to take nothing else away from
this disgusting, non-sensitive, "guy
article"

please
tattoo
this
one
thing
to
your forehead
(figuratively
speaking)...
When attempting
to talk to your guy about something that you consider to be of a "serious" and/or
"critical" nature... never, never, never start
off the conversation by saying: "We
need to talk." (Related

If you do
start off the conversation by saying: "We need to talk." ...
then, I can guarantee you that you're not going to get what you wanted...

Conclusion:
Guys are guys are guys... and we will always be guys...
Yep! And
(if you're lucky) we will never be (complicated) you, and
we will
never be that romantic (illusory Neptune fantasy) hunky guy
starring in your favorite soap opera. Oh... we can pull it off for
you, from time to time... but we are simply guys...
And chances
are that, when you put a few more miles on your life experience odometer,
you'll likely
discover
you never really wanted us to be you, anyway.
